UV - Technology description

It is a high-quality digital print, using inks fixed with UV rays. This technology allows for obtaining high-quality images, characterized by very high resistance to abrasion and solar radiation. Thanks to the possibility of printing materials up to a width of 5 m, it is perfect for large-size outdoor advertising. It is also the most common method of printing on flat materials such as dibond, plexiglass or polypropylene plate.

Our Rho 512R Plus / LED machine sets the highest standard in industrial digital printing. This is due to the latest, Durst-developed design of print heads called Quadro Array 12M, which enable printing with a 12-liter drop. Thanks to this, the printer is able to print with unrivaled quality up to 1200 x 800 DPI and a speed of up to 368 m2 per hour.

Rho 512R Plus / LED is equipped with a new, innovative ink fixation system with UV LED lamps and the Variodrop variable droplet technology, which guarantees that the final ink drop has exactly the intended shape and size. Thanks to the multi-roll option, it also enables printing on 2 or 3 rolls of material simultaneously.
